How it works
Provide your Anthropic API key. We validate it, encrypt it in our vault, and inject it at runtime. You're billed directly by Anthropic. We never store your key in plaintext or log it.
Pricing
Zero markup from HumanikOS. You pay Anthropic's direct rates. If you have volume discounts or an enterprise contract with Anthropic, those apply automatically.
Best for
High-volume production workloads. Enterprise orgs with existing Anthropic contracts. Cost-conscious teams where the 5% savings add up.
How BYOK Works

BYOK is not a workaround. It is a first-class billing path with the same security guarantees, the same audit trail, and the same agent capabilities as credits.
Provide your key
Enter your Anthropic API key. We validate it with a test request before storing.
Encrypted at rest
Key is encrypted immediately in our vault. Never written to disk or logs. Only the last 4 characters are stored as metadata.
Assign to workspace or office
Apply your key to an entire workspace or override at the office level. Two-tier hierarchy.
Injected at runtime
When an agent makes an LLM call, your key is decrypted in memory and passed directly to Anthropic. Transparent to the agent.
Usage tracked, not billed
Every token is logged in your ledger for visibility. But your balance is never deducted — Anthropic bills you directly.
Graceful fallback
If your key fails, the platform key is used automatically. No service interruption. You can investigate at your pace.
How Credits Work

Credits are the simplest way to use HumanikOS. No API keys to manage. No Anthropic account required. Load credits, run agents, track usage — all in one dashboard.
Transparent fee
5% platform fee applied on credit purchases — not on per-token rates. You specify how much compute you want. The fee is added on top. No hidden markups.
Auto-reload
Set a balance threshold and reload amount. When credits drop below the threshold, they refill automatically. No interruption to running agents.
Full usage ledger
Every session logged with model, token counts, cost breakdown, workspace, and office. Immutable append-only records. Paginated history for export and auditing.
Deduplication
Every billing event is checked against existing records. Retries and idempotent requests are never double-billed.

Keys encrypted at rest
Stored in Nexus vault. Decrypted in memory only during API calls. Never logged.
Last-4 visibility only
Metadata shows only the last 4 characters of your key. Full key never returned after storage.
IAM-gated access
Only tenant administrators can manage BYOK keys. Requires TENANT_MANAGE permission.
Immutable usage ledger
Append-only records for every session. Both BYOK and credits tracked identically.
Session deduplication
Every billing event checked for duplicates. No double-billing on retries or failures.
