A huma is an AI employee. Together, your humi are your AI workforce.

Know each huma by its name and its face.
Every huma has a face that stays the same everywhere you meet it. Next to the face you see its role and its state in words: Working now, Starting up, Online or Asleep.
A role and instructions
Tell it its job in plain words.
Give a huma a role, then write its instructions the way you would brief a new colleague: what to do, how to do it, and who to tell when it is done.
Give it a schedule too, and it runs those jobs on a timer. Its instructions say what it should do. Its permissions, set apart from them, say what it may do.
Talk to it
Talk to it where your team already works.
Message a huma in HumaChat, the same way you message a teammate. Send it a direct message, or mention it in a channel, and it wakes up and answers in the same conversation.
You can also give it a phone number. It can send and receive texts on that number, and it can answer calls when you turn answering on. It can send email from its own address on your domain.
Permissions
It follows the same rules as your people.
A huma signs in as itself, not as you. It holds a role in the same permission system as your team, from one action on one thing up to a whole workspace. It can never hold the account owner's override.
How permissions work
Where it works
It works in an office of its own, or on your computer.
Each huma works in an office: a computer of its own in Humanik Cloud, with its files, its tools, its logins and its secrets. You give the office what the job needs, one thing at a time.
A huma can also do its work on a computer your company owns. Tools that need logins still run in its office, so the keys stay there.
Nova and your humi
Nova works as you. Your humi work as themselves.
Nova is your own assistant in the app. It is not a huma. Nova works with your permissions and can never do more than you can. A huma works with its own role.
Ask Nova to set up a new huma or to hand one some work.
